About
Your care should be about you
What Makes Us Different?
Dentistry should feel less like a chore and more like a visit with someone who truly gets you. Our mission is to create a calming, family-friendly space where everyone feels welcome, respected, and genuinely cared for. From our community involvement to an office that feels anything but clinical, everything we do is centered around giving you the best experience.

Meet Dr. Nataliia Garibov
Dr. Nataliia Garibov’s path to dentistry began with an act of kindness. As a teenager newly arrived from Ukraine, she received a free smile makeover that changed her life—and inspired her to do the same for others. That experience not only sparked her passion for dental care but laid the foundation for Fern Dental: a practice where every patient feels safe, seen, and supported.
She began her career in dentistry at Lansing Community College, earning her dental hygiene degree at just 20 years old. After four years of clinical hygiene experience, she continued her education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where she received her DDS. Today, she practices alongside her husband, a local periodontist, and brings a deep, well-rounded understanding of care from preventive and restorative dentistry to pediatric and endodontic treatments.
Dr. Garibov is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. Her warmth and empathy help even the most anxious patients feel at ease. She believes great dentistry happens when care is collaborative—and when patients are invited into the conversation with honesty and trust.
As a mom of three young daughters, Dr. Garibov lives a busy life! She enjoys traveling, reading, skiing, playing tennis, training in jiujitsu, olympic weightlifting, and squeezing in a good home workout.

First Time Visiting? Here’s What to Know
What to Expect at Your First Visit
We want your first visit to be easy, stress-free, and maybe even a little enjoyable. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted like a friend—not just another name on the schedule. We take our time, answer your questions, and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.
Patient Experience
Your visit will begin with a warm welcome, followed by a gentle exam with digital x-rays, an intraoral digital scan and photography to get a full picture your oral health. Then, we'll have a one-on-one conversation about your goals and concerns and may perform a cleaning unless further treatment is needed.
We prioritize collaboration and transparency, making sure you always know what’s happening—and why.
